Cutelia AI ("Cutelia", "we", "us") is a Caribbean-first AI assistant serving Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Suriname and the wider Caribbean region. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, hashed password, language preference, and authentication identifiers (e.g., Google sign-in ID).
  • Conversation data: threads, prompts and AI responses you create while using Cutelia.
  • Usage & device data: browser, device type, approximate location, and basic interaction metrics used to improve reliability.
  • Support data: messages you send through our help desk, used strictly to respond to your request.

3. How we use your information

  • Provide and improve the Cutelia service.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Personalise the assistant for your language and region.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Detect abuse and comply with legal obligations.

4. Processors we use

We rely on reputable infrastructure providers to operate Cutelia, including our managed cloud backend, authentication providers (e.g., Google), and the AI model gateway that powers our assistant. These processors only handle data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. You can delete a conversation at any time. When you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep it longer.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us through our help desk.

7. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Accounts are isolated using row-level security so that only you (and the people you explicitly invite) can access your conversations.

8. Children

Cutelia is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
